Step back in time to the glitz and glamour of the Roaring 20’s at the Old Timers Reunion! This year, we invite you to join us underground for a prohibition-style speakeasy extravaganza. Get ready to revel in the era of flappers, gangsters, and secret passwords to enter the hidden world of speakeasy bars.
We’ve made some exciting changes this year! Friday night, (yes, that’s right, NOT just on Saturday night!) don your finest 1920’s attire and step into our time-traveling speakeasy in the Pavilion. All the way from New York, Dirty Mae will bring the wild 20’s style music, making Friday a night to remember with a Prohibition Style Boogie you will not want to miss!
Another change this year is the Doo Dah parade has been moved to Saturday evening again, allowing early risers to join the fun.
After the Doo Dah parade, be part of the exciting 1920 prohibition style Speak Easy campsite crawl contest. Explore and judge individual and unique speakeasy bars at each campsite. Will your group or Grotto be participating? There will be prizes!!! Don’t forget the secret word to gain entry and experience the thrill of the underground!
After the Speak Easy Crawl, the musical extravaganza continues with Queen City Funk and Soul, a returning band that will have you dancing the night away in the pavilion.
And don’t miss the river party Sunday featuring Johnny Staats and the Delivery Boys at the river stage, a perfect setting to unwind and enjoy some Bluegrass while soaking in the sun in the river.
After the TRA Awards Ceremony, support a good cause at the Annual Band-Aid fundraising event with lively music from Buzzz City Bluegrass Band in the pavilion.
But that’s not all! Expect thrilling contests, the mesmerizing bonfire lighting, and the introduction of the OTR Virgins. And yes, we’ve got free beer to keep the spirits high as you reconnect with old friends and forge new bonds.
So, mark your calendar, gather your friends, and get ready to party like it’s the Roaring 20’s all over again! See you at the speakeasy!
