TRA MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

The Robertson Association (TRA) is a community for individuals who share a passion for caves and caving. Our annual gathering, known as the Old Timers Reunion (OTR), is a central event for our members to gather. Membership is only open to cavers and their family dependents. If you're interested in joining, please review the membership requirements and complete the application form below.

Regular Membership Requirements:

All applicants for regular membership, must be 18 years of age or older and sponsored by another regular TRA member.  They must demonstrate their caving experience by providing at least ONE of the following three forms of verification:

1. Current member of a National Speleological Society (NSS) Internal Organization (e.g. grotto or section) or
2. Current member of a TRA recognized caving association (Dome grotto, PSC, Scum Ridge, SVG, Big Muddy Cavers or WVACS) or
3. Provide additional information regarding your caving background and current status as a caver and references from two (2) other Regular TRA members other than your sponsor.

Dependent Membership Requirements:

All applicants for a dependent membership must be an immediate family member of a Regular TRA Member living at the same address (Legally married spouse, child or stepchild)

NOTE:

Application submissions will require a one-time, non-refundable fee of $15.

Applications must be received no later than July 31 in order to allow time to process the application.

CODE OF CONDUCT

The Robertson Association (TRA) and Old Timers Reunion (OTR) are dedicated to providing a safe, secure and collaborative environment on our properties, at our events, and within our community. With participation of all members, volunteers, vendors and guests, we can achieve a hassle-free and rewarding experience. Basic civil behavior standards, responsibility for individual actions, respect for TRA/OTR assets and property as well as that of our adjoining neighbors, and adherence to West Virginia laws and OTR Campground Guidelines serve as our guiding principles. Failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct could result in disciplinary action and possible sanction or expulsion by the TRA Board of Trustees.

SPONSOR INFORMATION:

To proceed with your application, please enter your TRA sponsor's name and valid email address.  Your sponsor will be contacted for additional information that they will need to provide.  If you are applying as a family dependent, then your sponsor must be an immediate family member living at the same address.
