Introducing Care Connection, OTR’s own harm-reduction accountability platform for all attendees. We are actively working to create safer experiences for our attendees through consent and anti-harassment initiatives and by creating open and judgment-free reporting avenues.
We get it; everyone is just trying to show up to have a good time. But sometimes, things don’t go as planned, and we are here to help.
While you’re at OTR this year, please remember:
- Consent is an ongoing process of discussing boundaries and ensuring mutual comfort.
- “No” always means “No” and must always be respected.
- Consent should be clearly and freely communicated, without any form of pressure or coercion.
If you feel uncomfortable in a situation, or if you observe harassing or disrespectful behavior, please report it to an Action Area or find a member of the Security (identified by red “SECURITY” hats on site) or First Aid staff (identified by lime green shirts on site).
JUDGMENT FREE Action Areas are open 24 hours a day at the Security Trailer and First Aid.
This OTR, look out for one another, have an amazing time, but most importantly, make it a safe time.
See you soon!
