Members and Friends of TRA:
The Members of the TRA Executive Committee (EC) along with the OTR 2020 Chairman have been closely following and discussing the SARS COV-2 (COVID-19) situation and the potential impact regarding OTR 2020. The Emergency Management Plan was enacted on 7/23/2020 that would give the TRA Board the authorization to cancel Old Timers Reunion in the event of an emergency that would cause undue harm or stress to our members or the community.
The OTR Chairman and the EC advised the TRA Board of their recommendation to cancel OTR 2020 with the primary focus of discussions being the safety of our members, guests, and the local community. Today, June 28th, 2020, the TRA Board voted to cancel OTR 2020 due to the SARS COV-2 pandemic. While this was not an easy decision, we felt it was the prudent thing to do.
As a reminder, the TRA property remains closed throughout 2020 for all regularly scheduled work weekends.
