As a rule, electricity is not available to OTR attendees, with the exception of device charging available at the Charging Station. Any exceptions to electrical usage are ONLY by permission of the OTR chair. Such exceptions may be granted for attendees who require electricity for approved medical devices, such as CPAPs. Due to our limited electrical resources, OTR does not allow charging of electric vehicles.
If you have a medically necessary device that requires electricity, please bring your medical device to First Aid for verification and complete the Medical Device Electricity Usage form agreeing to the terms of medical electricity usage. Once approved, you will be issued a tag indicating that permission has been granted for electricity usage for your approved medical device. Only First Aid Crew Chief Phil Goldman or his designee at First Aid may grant permission for medical device electricity access.
Due to limited electrical resources, OTR is unable to provide electrical access during OTR for the sole purpose of running your air conditioning or refrigerating medications. If you are taking a medication during OTR that requires refrigeration, please make other arrangements to store your medications. Under no circumstances will the use of electricity be approved for running air conditioning for non-medical conditions. If you have any questions, please contact First Aid Crew Chief Phil Goldman or TRA Trustee Sarah Mosberg.
