After years of talking about it, it’s finally happening!
For the first time ever, CaveSim is bringing its immersive caving simulator all the way from Colorado to OTR!
CaveSim is a simulated cave built inside a trailer. Participants navigate through more than 100 ft of fabricated “cave” passage with the goal of not damaging the cave. Electronic sensors detect when a participant “damages” a formation; trackers inside the helmets follow your progress through the cave; and hidden cameras show the outside world what you’re up to in there.
CaveSim will be positioned in front of the Pavilion all weekend, so you can’t miss it. Be sure to check out CaveSim for yourself, and please give a warm welcome to owner and inventor Dave Jackson as he experiences his first OTR!
